Through American Maverick Productions, Rick has provided financial management, including
CFO, VP, and Controller services, for clients such as Walt Disney Attractions Original Programming, Lightship Entertainment,
A and R Media Group, and HarborLight Entertainment.
Rick was also the Corporate Controller for Haxan Films ("Blair Witch" creators), where
he oversaw business development in several film, television and commercial projects.
He has produced and directed over thirty theatrical shows, including several original
works developed through Pickett and Spiller Productions.
Rick has also worked with companies including Handprint Entertainment (a producer of TV & Film
projects such as "The Tyra Banks Show" and "Frida") on live entertainment projects.
For Harrah's Entertainment he provided leadership to their efforts to increase financial accountabilty
in regards to their live ticketed entertainment. He has also been involved in increasing the business for other West
Coast businesses.
For the Walt Disney Company, Rick was responsible for developing and managing financial
plans for many new and revised live shows.
Recently, Rick has brought his expertise to the "dot com" world, providing financial management as
well as creative design guidance.
He has also created and produced an international lecture series.
Rick earned his M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing at the University of Connecticut and
has completed studies at Oxford University in Shakespeare and international business.
